What if the voice tearing you down is actually trying, desperately, to help?
You finish the presentation.
The meeting.
The conversation.
The project.
And before anyone else says a word, a voice inside is already speaking.
You should have done better.
Why did you say that?
You missed something.
You're not ready.
Who do you think you are?
For some people, the critic is loud and relentless.
For others, it's quieter—more like a constant pressure to improve, achieve, perform, or never make mistakes.
Either way, it can be exhausting.
Most approaches treat the inner critic as an enemy to defeat.
This workshop takes a different approach.
What if the critic isn't the problem?
What if the problem is that the only relationship you've learned to have with it is either obedience or war?
Together we'll explore the voices, roles, and power dynamics that operate inside us. Through guided exercises, reflection, and experiential practice, you'll learn how to recognize the critic when it appears, understand what it may be trying to protect, and develop a stronger, wiser relationship with the parts of yourself that seem to be working against you.
Because leadership isn't only something that happens between people.
It also happens inside us.
This workshop explores what becomes possible when we stop treating the inner critic as an enemy and become curious about what it is trying to accomplish.
Because beneath the attack there is often something else:
a fear,
a standard,
a hope,
a protection,
a part of you trying—however imperfectly—to keep you safe.
When we learn to listen beneath the criticism, the relationship begins to change. Not because we defeated the critic. Not because we fixed ourselves.
But because we discovered something important that had been hidden inside the attack.
In two hours, you won't resolve your relationship with your inner critic.
But you may leave understanding it differently.
And sometimes that is where change begins.
This Workshop is For You if You've Ever…
Been harder on yourself than you would ever be on someone else.
Replayed mistakes long after everyone else had forgotten them.
Felt driven by a fear of getting it wrong.
Struggled with perfectionism.
Questioned your abilities despite evidence of your competence.
Felt trapped between pushing yourself and exhausting yourself.
What You'll Leave With
Greater awareness of your inner critic and how it operates.
A deeper understanding of the roles and voices within your inner world.
Practical ways to engage self-criticism without collapsing into it.
Increased capacity for self-leadership under pressure.
Greater freedom from automatic patterns of self-attack.
New ways to access the intelligence hidden beneath criticism.Blah
If You've Ever Thought…
"Why am I so hard on myself?"
"No matter what I accomplish, it never feels like enough."
"I wish I could quiet that voice."
"Part of me knows it's not helping, but I still listen."
"There has to be another way to relate to myself."
this workshop is for you.
No prior experience with Process Work or inner work is needed.
